Personal Injury claims

Personal Injury claims, according to the AA,have continued to rise despite the recently reported figures from the Department of Transport state thatthat Road Traffic Accidents for the year ending 2009 were down by eight percent compared to the the previous 12 months, with those killed or seriously injured down by 9 per cent.

Much of this can be accredited to the credit crunch with less people on the road.

The Association of British Insurers (ABI) has recently released figures showing that Personal Injury Claims had risen to almost £10 million pounds in the last year an increase from 8.8 billion pounds in 2007.

Car insurance premiums in this time also rose by 3.5% in this period,
